To bring healing to emotional wounds and trauma through Scripture, prayer, and caring small groups.
At a glance
Many of the people we serve carry wounds no one can see — grief, violence, abuse and years of hardship. Left unhealed, that pain often shows up as anger, hopelessness or addiction.
GROW HOPE Trauma Healing brings people together in small, safe groups where Scripture, prayer and practical lessons help them understand their pain and bring it to God. Ruth, Lovemore and Susan found peace — and now help others find it too.
What this includes
Why it matters
Poverty, loss, violence and family breakdown leave deep emotional wounds — and in rural Zambia there are very few counsellors to help carry them. Unhealed trauma often fuels addiction, anger and broken relationships.
Trained church facilitators can bring help close to home, in a language and setting people trust.
