Who we are
— Matthew 28:19
Mission & vision
We exist to make disciples, plant churches, and support people overcoming addiction — bringing people from brokenness to restoration through Jesus Christ.
Lives transformed, communities restored, leaders equipped, and nations reached. No Place Left without a clear witness of Christ — every home, village, prison, and community.
Spiritually mature believers, strong churches, and healthier communities. We work to replace addiction with freedom, hopelessness with purpose, and brokenness with faith.

A word from our founder
When we began this work, we saw villages without a witness, men in prison without hope, and families torn apart by addiction. We could not look away.
Every church planted, every prisoner discipled and every family restored is the work of God through faithful people — volunteers, pastors, partners and intercessors who carry this mission with us.
Thank you for standing with us. There is still so much ground to cover, and we would be honoured to walk it together.

Leadership
Led from Sinda, Eastern Province — carrying the work together.
Our story
Purpose Life International Ministries began on 18 August 2008 in Sinda, Eastern Province, with a simple conviction: no community is too broken or too far for the Gospel. These are the moments that shaped the work.
2008
The ministry is established in Sinda, Eastern Province, to reach the unreached, make disciples and restore lives. The first fellowships meet in homes and under trees.
2010
Open-air screenings bring the life of Jesus to people in their own language — and follow-up groups grow into new churches.
2012
Teams begin visiting correctional facilities for Bible study, counselling and baptisms — and follow inmates home after release.
2015
Recovery work begins for people bound by alcohol, marijuana and tobacco, combining counselling, prayer and church support.
2018
Bible-story-based recovery and resilience groups, led by trained local coaches, spread through villages, schools and prisons.
2022
Small healing groups help people carrying grief, abuse and loss bring their pain to God — and then help others heal.
Today
More than 400 churches planted, over 10,000 leaders and disciples trained, and fourteen former inmates now pastoring — across Zambia, Mozambique and Malawi.
Our values
These values decide how we plant churches, sit with inmates, and walk with people in recovery.
True change comes through the Gospel — spiritual renewal, healing, and restored purpose.
We make disciples who grow in faith, character, and obedience to Christ.
Every home, village, and prison should hear the message of salvation.
We equip leaders with biblical integrity, compassion, and skill.
We rebuild families, strengthen communities, and bring hope where there is brokenness.
We serve the poor, addicted, imprisoned, and vulnerable with the love of Christ.
Honesty, accountability, and transparency in every ministry activity.
We keep going until no community, prison, or family remains unreached.
How we work
Disciples who make disciples — until there is no place left.
What we believe
We are a Christ-centred, Bible-believing ministry. Partner churches and supporters can see plainly what we hold to.
The Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and our guide for faith and life.
2 Timothy 3:16–17
There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19
Jesus is fully God and fully man. He died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will return.
1 Corinthians 15:3–4
Salvation is a gift of grace received through faith in Christ alone — not earned by works.
Ephesians 2:8–9
The Spirit lives in every believer, empowering transformation, holy living and bold witness.
Acts 1:8
The Church is sent to make disciples of all nations, serve the poor and the prisoner, and proclaim restoration in Christ.
Matthew 28:19–20; Luke 4:18

Ask us a questionWe are a non-profit, faith-based ministry. We plant and strengthen local churches and work alongside existing congregations.
Our base is Sinda in Eastern Province, Zambia. Teams serve across Zambia — in villages, towns and correctional facilities — and with partners in Mozambique and Malawi.
We use proven tools from wider movements — No Place Left, the JESUS film, GROW (Global Resilience Oral Workshops) and BREATHE FREE — and partner with local churches and the Zambia Correctional Service.
We gather them into a discipleship group within days, baptise new believers, and connect them with a local church — or help start one in their village.
