Saulo arrived in prison convinced that nobody cared about him.
“I entered prison feeling worthless and rejected. I believed nobody cared about me.”
During one of the prison fellowship meetings led by Purpose Life, he heard that Jesus Christ loved him and died for his sins. He repented, received Christ and was baptised in prison as a public testimony of his faith.
“The message touched my heart deeply. God completely transformed my life.”
On release, the ministry helped him reconnect with his community and start a fellowship in his village. By God’s grace that fellowship became a church — and Saulo is its pastor.
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.”
