In prison, Laban struggled with guilt and loneliness. Through the Purpose Life prison ministry he learned that Christ forgives sinners and gives them a new beginning, and he was baptised in prison.
“I struggled with guilt and loneliness. I felt abandoned.”
Release was not the end of his training. Laban kept meeting with mentors, studying the Bible and taking part in leadership training.
“After my release, I continued growing through discipleship and leadership training.”
Today he shepherds a church planted in his home village — one of many leaders formed through Purpose Life’s discipleship pathway.
“I thank God and Purpose Life International for helping me become a servant of Christ.”
“His mercies are new every morning.”
