For several years, Jessica struggled with marijuana and tobacco. She describes a life in which these habits had become a barrier between her and God, leaving her feeling separated from Him.
Her journey toward change began when she encountered the Grow Free and Trauma Healing lessons.
Discovering healing and purpose
Through the lessons, Jessica learned about God’s healing power and His plan for her life. It gave her a new way of seeing both her past and her future.
Rather than remaining defined by the life she had been living, she began to see the possibility of a different path — one centred on faith, healing and a renewed sense of purpose.
Choosing a new direction
“I accepted Jesus Christ and decided to leave my old lifestyle behind.”
That decision was followed by a turning point. Jessica says she became free from marijuana and tobacco — a change she connects directly to what she learned in the Grow Free and Trauma Healing lessons, and to her faith in God’s healing power.
A new identity in Christ
Jessica’s transformation continued through baptism. She was baptized and welcomed into the Baptist Church, becoming part of a community of believers.
Her story moves beyond leaving harmful habits behind. It is the story of a woman who once felt separated from God and now identifies herself with Christ and His church.
A journey of freedom and faith
From years of marijuana and tobacco use to a renewed commitment to Christ, Jessica learned about healing and God’s purpose for her life, chose to follow Him, and found her place in the church after her baptism. She attributes every step to God’s mercy and faithfulness.
“Today, I am free from marijuana and tobacco.”
